What Our Customers Are Saying

The Allure Of Japanese Tea

Maximising the flavour of tea

Unlike Chinese tea leaves, which are fermented, Japanese tea leaves are steamed immediately after plucking to stop fermentation. This allows the tea to retain the maximum amount of flavour and nutrients.

Like a different drink for different moods

The way Japanese tea is brewed changes the balance of umami (amino acids), astringency (catechins) and bitterness (caffeine).
You can mix it to your taste, whether you want to enjoy the flavour or refresh yourself.

Can be paired with most dishes

Japanese tea was originally intended to be drunk with Japanese sweets, but it also goes well with chocolate, Chinese and Western cuisine.

Recently, more and more people are drinking it as a non-alcoholic drink with meals, and the pairing of Japanese tea and food is attracting attention.

Catechin effects only in Japanese tea

Catechins, the main component of the astringent taste of tea, have antioxidant, antibacterial and cavity-preventing effects.Among these, Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) , which has a high fat-burning effect, is a catechin found only in Japanese green tea.
