Nobiletin is a nonpolar polymethoxylated flavonoid (PMFs) found in the citrus peel of various fruits, such as tangerine. Citrus fruit-derived flavonoid have been shown to have significant biological activity, including anticancer, anti-inflammatory and antiatherogenic properties.
