Organic JAS certified item.  This is a precious malt syrup made by a traditional method of saccharifying organic rice with organic barley malt.
It can be used not only as a sweetener for simmered dishes and sweet beans, but also as a delicious syrup when you add a little ginger juice and hot water, warming your body from the inside.

Please use it as a sweetener instead of sugar in your cooking, such as in simmered dishes.  It is also delicious spread on toasted bread.
